It is with great sorrow that we tell you of the unexpected passing of a dear and valued colleague. Chieko Kittaka was found deceased in her apartment last night. Through her involvement with NASA's CALIPSO team and airborne field programs, Chieko was a much-loved and highly respected member of our community who will be remembered for her contributions as well as her warm and energetic presence.
人真的是可以这么容易死掉的
就好像昨天还看到Chieko满脸笑容讲话讲的手舞足蹈
听到她说之后我们要做这个做那个
笑嘻嘻的甩着长发 好像跃动的舞蹈
一个独在异乡的年轻女人
热烈的生命
短暂的一生
消逝之前应该是快乐的吧
我从来没在她脸上读到过悲伤
希望她走过的人生是无畏的
至少没人发现她曾经软弱
希望离世于她来说是快乐的
至少没人知道她曾经痛苦
希望她不会如我一般不愿再来
至少她不曾惧怕过伴她离去的孤独
活着的每一天，都要朝着理想前进一步
